A still life portrait of London.

A “still life” portrait of London, this is an insight into how the London we know can often be considered as two very separate beasts. On one hand it is a placid and easy afternoon in the park; on the other it is a relentless rush, push and shove to get somewhere fast. We celebrate this contrast everyday, existing as part of our own docile micro-climates with the knowledge that only one mile away there is a totally different pace of life going on. A side of London is shown that is slightly off the beaten path. We don’t actively seek out secret parts of London, but it is always a pleasure when they are discovered and we are able to share them with others.

London Grips is a short film collaboration by Luke Jermy and Peter van Lanschot.
